#165-G111 ~ Galatians 4:22-31
This will be our last study of Galatians 4. We begin this study with come comments about what is called the Abrahamic Covenant as it is stated in Genesis 12:1-4. Our passage in Galatians 4 takes us back go Genesis 12, 16 & 21. Hagar was the mother of Abraham’s son Ishmael. Purchased in Egypt, Hagar served as a maid to Abraham’s childless wife, Sarah who gave her to Abraham to conceive an heir. By doing so they thought they were going to HELP GOD fulfill His promise to them. I here note an important principle that relates to salvation, but even more. Principle: The only thing you have to contribute to your salvation is the sin that made it necessary.
Much of the remaining portion of the video is to do with this which is called the Abrahamic Covenant and things related. God DOES keep His promises.
In closing, I discuss 1 Corinthians 15:57 and 2 Corinthians 5:14-21, two very important passages every believer should become very familiar with.
