#135-G81~ Galatians 3:15-17

Gary Googe Oct 28

Again, Paul is talking to believers. He begins with a discussion about covenants of the day and relates them to the covenant that God made with Abram [Abraham], To do this we will begin our study by going to Genesis 15. I then use this passage to go into a discussion about visions and how they do and do not relate to us today. Here we will benefit from what we learn about Abram’s vision and what God revealed to him through that vision. But what about visions today? I discuss this and things related in this video. One of the most important things being faith and believing what God says. What WE need to know and believe are those things in Scripture that God says to US as members of what is called the Body of Christ.

I then go to Ephesians 2:8-9, a passage I often quote because of its emphasis on God’s grace. In this case its about God’s grace in our salvation. We didn’t earn it and we don’t deserve it. Then I go to Romans 4:4-5 to discuss and emphasize this same principle.

I then close this out with an explanation of verse seventeen. The point that I make is that grace has always been a part of God’s means for man’s salvation and His blessing. Don’t be ignorant of it and don’t misunderstand it. Make it a goal to learn all you can in your lifetime about God’s grace and the promises He’s made to you all for your blessing.

I conclude this this video with a discussion about my books. If you don’t have them, I hope you’ll order them soon.
