#96-G42 ~ Galatians 2:5-6

Gary Googe Jan 22

I begin by discussing the confusion that exists about what someone must believe to end up in heaven. I Corinthians 15:1-4 provides a simple but correct insight on that.
I then go to Romans 14:4-6 where we have a statement about the place of the Mosaic Law as it relates to salvation. I noted that it does not tell us what we must know for salvation as well as the Christian way of life for our time. I then discuss the freedom we have today that’s apart from the teachings of the Mosaic Law. Colossians 2:16 and Galatians 5:1 are other passages where this is discussed. What is God’s policy for us today? All that is found for us in the writings of the apostle Paul.
I then continue with our study of these first verses of Galatians 2. As it still is today, most of one’s ministry is to do with helping people understand God’s policy of grace for our time and how Scripture defines that.
I then went into a study contrasting Peter and Paul’s message. Contrary to what most people think, they were different. This whole list of differences is found on our website under the title of– Gospel: Did Peter and Paul preach the same gospel? I introduce all this here, but I encourage you to go to our website for the full list. 4Us2UsMinistries.com
The remaining portion of the video deals with numerous differences in these two gospel messages. Here we deal with some other passages— Acts 2:28, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-20, I Peter 3:21, Mark 1:4, Acts 16:30-31, I Corinthians 15:1-4, I Corinthians 1:17, Ephesians 4:4-5, and I Corinthians 12:13.
