#213-EP13 ~ How wonderfully blessed we are as believers!
We’ve noted 5 blessings that are ours and on this video we’ll continue with #6.
We begin with a review of the first five.
#1-We gain knowledge of our—forgiveness – Ephesians 1:7
#2-We learn that we’ve been redeemed from the curse of the Law – Galatians 3:13
Then we gain these others when we believe Christ died, was buried, and arose for our justification.
#3-We’re delivered from condemnation – Romans 8:1
#4-We’re baptized by the Holy Spirit and placed in the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:13
#5-We’re given spiritual life—regenerated = born again. Titus 3:5
Now we continue with #6
#6-We are given everlasting life.
1 Timothy 1:16
16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
#7-We are given the righteousness of God with resultant justification.
Romans 3:28
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
#8-We are indwelt by the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 6:19
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
