#182–G127 ~ Galatians 6:6-10 continued
We begin with a review of our passage in Galatians 6:10.
We’ve covered 10 principles about this in our last video. We continue now with an eleventh.

We now continue our study of Galatians 6:1-10
Here I’m reminded of Ephesians 2:10
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
This verse does not negate what went before it in verses 8 & 9. What a job it is pulling people away from some form of works salvation, which provides no salvation at all! CONTEXT! CONETEXT! CONTEXT!!! It is so important in every passage of Scripture. This is a part of why right-division is so important. People will so often say–“Don’t you know that faith without works is dead?” Haven’t you read James 2:18-20? We then note to WHOM that epistle was addressed as we read James 1:1. But note what Paul says in his writings. It is NOT the same. Romans 5:4-5 and Titus 3:5-7 Paul is OUR apostle, not James or any other.

Literally it is – the prophetic scriptures, not “the scriptures of the prophets.” That is a mistranslation. The word “prophets” is an adjective in the Greek text, not a noun. The prophets DIDN’T write about this. It was a “mystery.” This means it was a secret held in the mind of God until it was revealed through the apostle Paul. So few understand this extremely important principle. I hope you’ll be an exception to that.
