#104-G50 – Galatians 2:9
God has made provision to meet our greatest need. That need is not food, but the “food” of God’s word for what is called salvation. As a sinful people we come into this world under God’s condemnation. That status can be changed immediately because of what God has provided through Jesus Christ. This sturdy takes us to II Corinthians 5:19 and what immediately follows. I think you’ll find it all quite helpful. At the heart of this message is, again, the truth that the Apostle Paul is OUR apostle, not Peter and the eleven. While they certainly provided many truths for us that we all need to know, they DO NOT provide the information that is specifically TO us and FOR us in our time. This is particularly true about the information that’s needed for one to know the basis for his entrance into heaven. Romans 11:13 clearly points out that it was Paul who was the apostle to the Gentiles. Oh, how very much the church today needs to recognize Paul’s authority and his message to us today.
