#45 ~ Acts 3 study continued, going from verse 1 to verse 15. Also, John 10:14-18
During His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ said a kingdom was at hand, meaning near in terms of time. He even told the apostles to pray for it to come, saying, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” It has now been roughly 2,000 years since then. Why did that kingdom not come? Some try to claim that it has come as a “spiritual” kingdom! But God’s will is clearly not being done on earth as it is in heaven. Therefore, for that reason and others, that kingdom has not come. So what are we to think of this? Has this promised kingdom been canceled? No, it has not! I explain in this video what has happened and how it all relates to what was going on at the time of Acts 3. Other passages discussed include John 10:14-18 and Romans 3:20, 24, 28; 4:2; 5:1-2.
