#7 ~ Can religious traditions be trusted?

Gary Googe May 10

Much of what people believe in “Christian” circles is based on traditions and mainline thinking that needs to be examined with the Bible. Furthermore, it needs to be examined through the principle of what is called “right division.” In other words, just because something is “biblical” does not mean the command or principle is addressed to us today. While ALL the Bible is FOR us, it is not all TO us or ABOUT us. Without that understanding there’s always confusion and the appearance of what SEEM to be contradictions in the Bible. Much of what is taught in churches today is in violation of the “right division” principle. In fact, it is because of this, and some other factors, that we have so many denominations in Christianity.
