#16 ~ Understanding the Bible, my journey, my story
We all come from some background. This means we all have our beliefs about various things, including the Bible. What I found in my journey is that many of the things I had taken for granted and supposed to be correct were not at all. It took my personal study of the Bible, along with the help of some others, to discover that. Altogether it was a humbling experience, but VERY helpful. Because of the importance of the Bible and what we believe it teaches us, it’s important that we all take the initiative to do some objective study of the Scriptures, never assuming that our traditional beliefs are correct. Altogether this journey proved to be an exciting adventure as numerous truths came to light, answering many questions, and providing a firm foundation for building a wonderful life.
