#4 ~ The Great Commission

What most Christians do not understand is that the commission given by our Lord to the apostles in Matthew 18:19​-20 and Mark 16:15​-20 is not our commission as members of the body of Christ in this Dispensation of Grace. Our commission is found in II Corinthians 5:17​-21. Without a clear understanding of this, the believer will miss many wonderful truths that he’ll never have the chance to know and appreciate. His understanding of many things in the Bible will be unclear to him. Hence, this right knowledge regarding his commission is essential for his spiritual growth and maturity.
